Staying the course takes effort. It's easy to take your foot off the gas and coast along. You're looking for the perfect balance between obsessing about your money which often leads to inertia and decision fatigue, and staying just interested enough to keep on top of things.

Received this email from @VirginAtlantic telling me I’m a valued customer.. I feel anything but given I’ve been waiting 100+ days for my refund and my emails are simply ignored. Disgraceful behaviour and appalling communications. Come on @UK_CAA - protect customers…
Disgraceful that according to @VirginAtlantic the @UK_CAA are endorsing delaying refunds by 120 days when regulations (EC 261/2004) stipulate 7 days. Airlines being propped up by withholding customers’ money - this can’t be right can it? @richardbranson@WhichPress@WhichUK
@VirginAtlantic I’m confused as to why I’m still waiting for a refund from May whilst others are apparently getting their refunds processed if they send solicitor letters or contact @WhichUK. Is this the only way to get your money now?
@momm_uk - Wow that’s a long time to wait. Maybe if @VirginAtlantic provided some transparency on their website it would reduce the number of people contacting them. #rootcause
@CWilliamstweets@VirginAtlantic Thanks Chris, replies to DMs are taking 4 days they say. Also 3 days to reply to WhatsApp, then they sometimes reply at 2am, and cancel chat when you don’t reply 🤷♀️
@CWilliamstweets@VirginAtlantic It’s all about their cash flow mate. All the airlines are doing the same thing i.e making refunds hard versus vouchers for later travel.
