🚨 WHY IS THE WORLD’S LARGEST MINER QUIETLY STAKING SASKATCHEWAN URANIUM LAND?
Mining titan BHP has quietly secured mineral claims directly adjacent to NexGen Energy’s high-grade Arrow deposit.
With tech giants racing for clean baseload power to feed AI data centers, this silent land grab positions the mining Goliath right in the heart of the Athabasca Basin revival.
Is this just cheap option value, or is BHP setting the stage for a massive buyout?

PRICE SENSITIVE ANNOUNCEMENT: DRILLING FURTHER EXTENDS ISR #URANIUM MINERALISATION FOR $CXU!
1⃣Now drilling Manyingee South, after reaching max extent of existing heritage clearance at Manyingee North
2⃣Aim to report new Resource Estimates for BOTH deposits in due course.
3⃣Mineralisation is prolific over a very large region.
4⃣More high priority targets coming up!
@CxuAsx Great work team! For fun, I ran all your drill results this season through AI to get its estimate of what an updated MRE could look like. Closing in on that 100 Mlbs mark with a shiton of unexplored targets to go.
My comment... note the policy bit.
“The 2026 drill program continues to be highly productive. We have moved on from expanding mineralisation at Manyingee North, where we have reached the limit of our existing heritage clearance, to expanding mineralisation at Manyingee South, with these latest results demonstrating that the mineralisation extends ~2.5 kms upstream, which is clearly a fabulous result.
As is evident from our results, the uranium mineralisation at Yanrey is prolific.
Our focus is on maximising the size potential of our MRE polygons (subject to independent confirmation) at Manyingee North and Manyingee South before we test potential new discovery areas. We look forward to publishing MRE updates for each of Manyingee North and Manyingee South in due course.
We continue to believe that investing in growing the resource base at Yanrey, as well as further progressing our technical understanding and process flow concepts is important, whilst we continue to advocate for a lifting of the uranium ban in WA. In our view, the recent by-election result in Secret Harbour demonstrates that West Australians are not happy with the status quo, and common sense opportunities that can create value for Western Australians should not be held back due to ideological opposition from a particular minority of the community.
Our strategy remains two-pronged. We will continue to advance and grow the Yanrey Uranium Project whilst we continue to advocate strongly that the uranium ban ought be lifted for the benefit and prosperity of Western Australia and its residents.”
Restarts mess with the #uranium fuel market balance the most.
1. Have already usually sold off all their prior inventory (unlike life extensions who may still have some)
2. Shortest timeframe between investment decision and needing fuel.
3. Full load on restart = 3x annual requirement.
4. Want to build back a multi year supply buffer.
5. All at the short end of the curve where supply quantity is inelastic. Just too short a timeframe to adjust production meaningfully.

🎆🇺🇸 History is being made at Palisades in #Michigan as #Uranium reactor fuel is now being loaded ahead of the first-ever restart of a permanently shuttered US commercial #Nuclear power plant🪦➡️❤️🔥⚛️⛽ Extremely bullish for U!🛢️☢️🐃 Yee-Haw!🍾🤠🥳

And yet in Western Australia, the approved Government talking point is still "mining #uranium in WA isn't economic" because they last looked into this in 2017 when uranium was $20/lb.
Think it might be time to update your analysis @RogerCookMLA.

The nuclear industry’s “I’ll believe it when I see it” approach to India should reassess. They’re not messing around. Kazakhstan, Canada, Australia, and now a major uranium supply agreement with Uzbekistan. The west is running out of time to secure 2030’s uranium supply.

The more media attention on this issue the better. Nice work Paul Hemburrow from @Paladin_Energy!

Guess what happens when you put triple figure #uranium prices into developers feasibility studies?

Woo-Hoo!🎆😃 Thar she blows!🐳 UxC's August Long-term #Uranium price has jumped +$2 to a new industry high for them of $96 per lb #U3O8 ⤴️🌋💲🛢️☢️🤠🐃 #Nuclear! 🌊🏄 More to follow later... Just boarded my flight to Europe.🛫☺️
Whether we build reactors domestically and whether we export #uranium to help our trading partners are separate issues. $CXU
However, growing recognition of the futility of the nuclear ban will certainly help spur along the removal of uranium bans in WA, QLD and NSW.
🚨 Labor insiders have admitted that its inevitable Australia's nuclear power ban will be lifted.
The pressure is finally starting to work.
