Despite making claims that they've begun divestment in response to pressure from their students, FOI requests have proven that these claims are false.
We won't back down until Queen's ends their complicity in genocide! Free Palestine!
CYM activists with members of QUB Palestine Assembly occupied the Lanyon building in Queen's University today. Queen's has tens of millions of pounds invested in companies that supply Israel's genocide.
The Zionist entity has attacked and kidnapped people of dozens of nationalities in international waters; they have no right to enforce a blockade. These are the criminals that governments around the world should be concerned about, not peaceful protesters. Let the aid in!
Yesterday, CYM members joined dozens of pro-Palestine activists in blocking the road outside Erskine house in protest of the Zionist entity's attack of the Sumud flotilla.
The PSNI surrounded them with surveillance vans while they threatened and pushed them. The PSNI followed multiple protesters after this peaceful protest, waiting until they were isolated to target them with cautions or arrest.
CYM members, along with activists from BDS Belfast, Mother's Against Genocide, and Cairde Palestine, blocked the motorway into Belfast, protesting the Zionist entity's attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla and to send a message to complicit businesses and politicians.
The flotilla is trying to open a corridor for aid into Gaza and end Israel's forced famine. As Israel boards these ships in international waters, they've kidnapped activists of at least 26 nationalities.
The CYM will be holding a film screening on Sunday the 28th at 7pm in the Beanbag cinema. We'll be raising money for Cuba as they suffer under American sanctions.
We'll be showing I Am Cuba, a Cuban film following the lives of four Cubans in the leadup to the revolution!

@JayBasra2 We carried out this disruption as the PSNI attacked students just last year for trying to unfurl a Palestinian flag. These armed thugs are a threat to students on campus and have no place at the Freshers fair

DROP THE CHARGES ✊🇵🇸🇮🇪
The CYM calls on all anti-imperialist, socialist and republican activists to support the campaign to get the charges against students arrested in Queen's dropped! Send a letter to the PPS expressing your concern about the case: https://t.co/5pW7N0xdLH
@Diana_uup@QUBelfast It is typical that you are condemning our right to peaceful protest Diana. How are young students with a flag intimidating to armed police officers who beat them with batons last year?
We outline why we carried out this protest below if you want to learn a thing or two!
On the final day of the fresher's fair in Queen's University, members of the CYM and another pro-Palestine activist disrupted a stall hosted by the RUC/PSNI, surrounding the stall with a flag and placards highlighting the PSNI's record of police brutality.
This action followed on from the CYM's disruption of the British army's Officers' Training Corps stall 2 days prior at which the recruiters fled. We call on Queen's to stop all police and military recruitment on campus and to sever all links with the Zionist entity's genocide.

Last November, the PSNI brutally attacked students just outside the Students' Union building where this stall was held for peacefully protesting the visit of Hillary Clinton. That QUB continues to allow them to hold stalls on the very same campus is shameful and reckless.
