@JoshPateCFB Don’t think there could ever be another game top it for me personally. Hopefully will have some shared experiences with my son that’ll surpass it, but having grown up on the stateline that one will be tough to beat as a standalone game.
Got to stay with my Dad through the weekend to watch this one on a Monday night. Stayed up no telling how late on a school night watching all the postgame coverage. Great game and memory.
@coachbrucepearl My childhood home had burned down just a few weeks prior. Watching this game was one of the best memories I have with my Dad. As proud as I’d ever been to be a TN fan up to that point in my life. Thanks for the memories coach! https://t.co/RwLKmxR6Pd

A rifleman who faced charges in forest and fortress alike. Proof that courage is steady hands under pressure.
An American Legend larger than life.
“You are not too far gone that you can’t get it back … feel distant from God? You can get that back! … He’s quick to forgive and slow to anger and He’s waiting for you to run back into His arms!”
-Phillip Anthony Mitchell
@jlunce Muscle Shoals was closer to top 5 than outside the top 10. Program deserves way more respect than it gets but will never happen since located north of Birmingham. Unreal what they consistently accomplish with their enrollment numbers & talent base relative to the rest of 6/7A.
Aug. 28, 1967 — Married song-writing duo Felice and Boudleaux Bryant checked into a room at the Gatlinburg Inn and penned “Rocky Top” 58 years ago today.
@ByNoahTaylor Nice! Not sure if this poster is an Adidas advertisement or not, but the look of it makes me think it might be. Came across it online somewhere and have never been able to track back down.
“From Memphis to Bristol. From the Alabama border to the Kentucky border you’re going to find people who are Tennessee through and through and his blood really runs with a deep hue of orange. That’s what I’m looking for at Tennessee..”
@CFBNerds Clueless claims were towards anybody claiming legal expertise that NCAA had TN dead to rights when average joe using common sense knew NCAA wouldnt win, and didnt. Potential ramifications were known as tampering and pay for play was already reality, TN just got singled out.
@PeterBurnsESPN@Vol_Football Hate it for him if being forced by those around him. Can’t have a single player holding program hostage, especially the supposed team leader. Have to be willing to let him go for sake of locker room, but even if you do call bluff and he returns there’s fractured relationships.
@ClayTravis The fans, university, & entire state when it comes down to it with the legal support against NCAA last year, have supported him as much as possible. Even if deal isnt top of market anymore it doesnt deserve to be based on his play to date. Sad for him if driven by others.
