@RichardLon34932 Assuming you’re reading all these replies… they can almost all be summed up as “do something/anything with energy and faith”. Spend a moment working out what will hit the spot in that particular community, then keep believing in God and in yourself.
@AngieBeatDown@pigletish That, and during pregnancy, everyone wants to give you advice…… while acknowledging that everyone’s pregnancy and birth (and early years to follow) is different.
@AineGuy I think it was only five hours ahead…… or was it seven hours behind? Either way, huge thanks for all you’ve done to make Easter a blessed and spiritual time.
@vocnorth Just catching up on this evening’s posts - sharp intake of breath and still can’t quite believe it. Hope you’re OK after a fair dose of stress.
@yrieithydd@OurCofELike I hear what you’re saying (John), but as a mere layman in the congregation, my only yardstick to judge whether it makes my heart burn for the gospel (Luke 24:32). I don’t generally see the script. Wouldn’t that be a better marker of a sermon’s success than an academic analysis?
@RhunapIorwerth On a vaguely related note, did you ever try to look up Anglesey council in the phone book back in the day?
Was it under……
A (for Anglesey) ❌
Y (for Ynys Mon) ❌
M (for Mon) ❌
C (for cyngor or county or council) ❌
No, it was under I for “Isle of Anglesey County Council”
@RhunapIorwerth ……and when I was working for commercial radio in Wrexham, the newsreader who talked about a plane belonging to “e-i-a-i…… sorry, that should be EL AL”. (Producer had presumably written El Al).
Fire in a flat in block of sheltered accommodation for older people called Twr Llewelyn in Conwy. No official word on casualties, but ambulance treating one man.
@ParchKevin @mjbeecroft @tracyjanejones @alededwardscym I think that counts as a change of forename, so would need a deed poll. IIRC, you can double-barrel maiden name and partners name together without one though. But you might need a definitive answer from someone better qualified than me: @chinmj ?
