@olson_dan Also amusing is that many large c++ projects build tooling to create unity builds to get the wall time improvements that come from giving the compiler chunkier translation units, especially on windows where the cost of process creation is higher.
@olson_dan Oh yah, that's a pretty big size for toml, no wonder you're having issues. Mine isn't optimized or speed, was just curious since it is quite a bit simpler.

@mitsuhiko I also find this attitude strange, particularly in the case of CI, where it's often the case that compiling a tool from source takes longer than the actual project/repo itself.
