Tax Audit deadline should be extended from 30 Sep to 31 Oct.

For small & mid-sized CA firms, especially those working with upto 5 staff members with TIER 2-3 City, completing quality tax audits within one month after the 31 Aug ITR deadline is practically very difficult.

In my entire life, I have not seen any political party with as much corruption as Congress!

Even CAG has reported losses by their government worth lakh crore plus!

Few CAs are just scapegoats! The real tax evasion is carried out by politicians backed by the government, like Congress!

Stop defaming CAs. ICAI @theicai should file a ₹1000 crore defamation suit against Congress for damaging the CA brand.

Congress should learn to respect the profession that has helped build the nation and has been auditing public limited companies since independence.

Chartered Accountants play a vital role in strengthening our nation’s economy, financial discipline and tax ecosystem.

However, there are instances where CAs, despite having no direct involvement in an alleged offence, may face prolonged questioning or unnecessary harassment merely because of their professional association with a client.

I humbly request the Government to consider a clear and effective legal framework to safeguard Chartered Accountants from unwarranted harassment, while fully ensuring that genuine wrongdoing is investigated and dealt with strictly.

Before initiating coercive action against a CA, their actual role, knowledge and responsibility should be objectively examined. Protecting honest professionals strengthens, not weakens effective enforcement.
