Arizona has passed Proposition 314. It directly impacts immigrant communities and…
💥Allows racial profiling
💥Lets authorities arrest people suspected of crossing the border illegally
💥Enables judges to order deportations without a fair hearing
💥Makes the use of false documents a criminal offense.
Consult an immigration lawyer to understand your rights and legal options.
I am proud of the work we have done to make the Affordable Care Act more accessible and more affordable for folks like Phoenix’s grandmother.

It's beyond unacceptable that Amazon, the 2nd largest corporation in America, owned by Jeff Bezos, the 2nd wealthiest person on Earth, continues to put their huge profits ahead of the health & safety of their workers.
Sadly, that's precisely what my 160-page report today found.
Two years ago, I was proud to sign the Respect for Marriage Act into law—requiring interracial and same-sex marriages to be recognized in every state in the nation.
It was a vital step towards creating a nation where decency, dignity, and love are honored and protected.

Today in History: The Montgomery Bus Boycott
On December 5, 1955, the Montgomery Bus Boycott began, uniting a community to demand justice. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. led with a clear vision, stating, “The bus boycott is not aimed at putting the bus company out of business but at putting justice in business.”
Today, we honor this legacy by continuing to stand for justice through nonviolence.
