That isn't how he means it. It's part of a longer video and more to an Orthodox audience. Almost every Orthodox Church services uses the Psalms. The OT is referenced and read from several times throughout the weekly cycle many weeks. We go through Genesis, Proverbs, Isaiah, Exodus and numerous others through lent and other periods.

And therein lies my point. It's not entirely black and white. Sometimes defense of your family, your people and the Church is necessary. I am not saying definitively, but this very description describes St. Justinian having done it without wrath, without passion.

As a leader how are you to stop the violent destruction of Churches and property throughout Constantinople when you have already bent to the riots demands and repented publicly for failing in governance?

The nika riots also occurred after rejecting his repentance when he apologized for his poor governance and the mob did not care, burned half of the city including the Hagia Sophia.

Which is mostly focused on Western Europe... The Eastern Roman Empire preserved much of that literature that graphics showing for that period of time, established the first hospitals, kept universities, had a strong currency backed by gold, synthesized Church & State in symphonia, and reclaimed many ancient Roman lands before their eventual collapse in 1453.

The Vatican has totally bent to modernism. Dignitas humanae, Nostra aetete, gaudium et spes. Read the documents you are bound by. Latin rationalism and development of doctrine reduced the faith to systems, leading indirectly the modern worship of science and materialism. The enlightenment was largely a reaction to the Latin Church.

I am extremely against the message of PF, but I guarantee you, without a shadow of a doubt this is a genuine promise, that many in that group are entirely legitimate, unwell, and under a pretty charismatic atheistic leader. Many have lost their homes, bank accounts, been doxxed, lived with one another, gone on camping trips, they are real. And it is evil.
