Go Fund Me Campaign for Dr. Hoau-Yan Wang's Legal Fight

I believe short sellers and big pharma are using the government to stop a promising and safe Alzheimer's drug from getting to patients. Dr. Wang, as a professor and researcher at a small university, is an easy target for the attack and is all alone to mount a fair defense.

Dr. Wang has dedicated his life to curing Alzheimer's disease, but now his safe, twice a day pill, in phase 3 trials at the FDA is coming under attack by short sellers, big pharma competitors, and the DOJ. The DOJ has indicted Dr. Wang 3 months before the first phase three trial finishes in October of this year.

Families on the drug and clinical trial sites that have run the trials have said that the drug does turn around Alzheimer's disease.

The DOJ indicted him for old papers used in old NIH grant applications that awarded Dr. Wang's university money to do the research.

He and the company, Cassava Sciences $sava, have been under attack by short sellers and competitors. The person, David Bredt, spearheading the attack is the former head of Neuroscience Drug discovery at Janssen (a Johnson and Johnson company).

David Bredt was short the stock and founded a public company Rapport Therapeutics $RAPP. They directly compete against $sava. He made complaints to every government entity possible leveraging Jordan Thomas (former SEC employee and attorney). In their FDA complaints, they failed to mention David Bredt was short the stock and starting up a competitor funded by Johnson and Johnson.

The complaints of "fraud" got the attention of the media and did get investigated by the SEC and DOJ. I think David Bredt's attorney, Jordan Thomas, went hand waving into the SEC, FDA, DOJ, and others screaming Theranos 2.0. Their strategy worked and the DOJ investigated. The DOJ does not have a tendency to give up and they moved forward with the indictment.

RAPPORT does the exact same thing as sava with Receptor Associated Protiens like $sava with FLNA for AD, epilepsy. David Bredt did not start researching RAPs until after he met with $sava in 2011, then 2016. His research discovered the NACHO protein that attaches to a7 and was used by $sava in their MOA confirmation study.

David Bredt and Steve Paul own 1.31% of $rapp. They are the cofounders.

Steve Paul has deep connection to NIH. NIH cut off $sava because of Citizens Petitions and complaints filed by David Bredt.

ARCH employs or employed a very active twitter short. ARCH owns 10% of Rapport. ARCH has likely been short $sava over time and funded Eshaan Roa to bash on twitter

Third Rock owns 20% of Rapport. They held employees and managed the IP transfer from JnJ while David Bredt did the CP. They transferred the employees after Bredt formed $RAPP the exact same day the CP was denied.. feb 10 2022.

All while the complaints from David Bredt went to SEC, DOJ, ORI, CUNY, NIH, WSJ, New Yorker, New York Times, Reuters, Science, and STAT News.
