@Littoria14 I find Brahmins ideas intriguing, bt he doesnt seem 2 handle critique well. Vry sensitive.
Blocked & accused of running some type of angle 4 questioning one of his takes about comic books, an industry I have some knowledge of. I was genuinely interested in reading his book too
@KetaMeanberg@RichardBSpencer Ive always found Mark's ideas very intriguing and fun to read about.
I was kind of astounded he would just say "wrong", accuse me of plotting and block me. There is a sea of evidence that proves everything I said in that comment. Im not even sure what he thinks Im wrong about...
@Aarvoll_ i was genuinely interested in reading what they'd put together, but it seems Mark is utrasensitive to anyone questioning any of his ideas.
I was instantly blocked and accused of running an angle because, as someone who knows comic well, disagreed with his Foggy Nelson theory
@PalmyrPar Im assuming you lightly questioned one of Mark's insane comparisons and were immediately banned and accused of "working an angle"....
many such cases
@KeithWoodsYT@jollyheretic I disagreed about the Foggy Nelson naming and Brahmin immediately blocked me and accused me of working an angle...
I find his ideas interesting but I guess he's very sensitive to any disagreement lol
I happen to know something about comics, but I never meant him any disrespect
@RickRockwelll comic books are just another medium, same as books, cinema, or whatever else.
I love Tom but calling someone a 'comic book nerd' (which Brahmin is not) is basically the same as calling someone a 'bookworm' or a 'cinephile'
@KeithWoodsYT I disagreed about the Foggy Nelson naming and Brahmin immediately blocked me and accused me of working an angle LOL
I find his ideas interesting but I guess he's very sensitive to any disagreement. I never meant to disrespect him, but I been reading Stan Lee comics my whole life
@MarkBrahmin very little of what he is now credited for. The vast majority was done by the artists he worked with. While Lee did occasionally use biblical allusions, they were always very overt, as was Lee's style in general.
@MarkBrahmin I look forward to reading the book when there's a physical edition available, no doubt it will be fascinating.
On the topic of Foggy Nelson in particular, I would bet my life that was the last thing on Lee's mind when naming the character. Lee is actually responsible for (1)
@dindy_sigma@KeithWoodsYT names sometimes mean things, yes, but 'Foggy Nelson' sure as hell isnt one of those examples, and certainly not in the way Brahmin presented it
@ValVenisEnt when the gungrabbers come and a black lesbian ATF agent shows up at the Rhodes household to confiscate Dustins weapons he will come out, bow to them, and apologize for ever owning a gun in the first place, declaring "I am not that person, queen"
@dustinrhodes stop bending the knee Dustin.
That is not what men do.
You have NOTHING to apologize for. They'll take a pound of flesh and then demand 10 more
@ValVenisEnt Jesus Christ, guys like Misawa or Stan Hansen would have this guys ass for exposing the business like this.
You'd think Rick or Scotty would be busting his ass for this garbage
