My students just published their final writing pieces as third graders! Students were able to choose if they wanted to write informational or narrative, as well as choose their topic, audience, and publishing format. #writersworkshop#virtualteaching

Check out @ReadWriteMore in the new episode of #everyoneareader. She teaches us the difference between fantasy fiction and dystopian literature AND explains the importance of a reading mindset. So much good stuff.

2 weeks into our writing process unit (inspired by @Mattglover123's book Craft and Process Studies) and students started working on their projects! The topics, genres, products, and audiences vary so much. I love it!! (especially the kid who said I'M GONNA WRITE A NORMAL BOOK)
