@Lucy_Webster_ Depressing that people believe that! My husband has reams of medical evidence and still had to fight for his PIP - we certainly don't get £60k!!!
After years of having to read really dull reading scheme books my son is now reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory and he is loving reading now! #yes#readingforfun
After months of worry about our child being poorly, then him having to have surgery today is the first day I've heard him giggle and I finally feel he's on the mend. Better than winning the lottery #relief
@AngieBeatDown I still remember the first public tantrum my son had - you're right - the ignoring behaviour and then talking when calm will help. It does get better!
@BexBookaholic Personally it's because in my non holiday life I rarely get time to dress up so I like to take the time to do hair and makeup and wear nice clothes. My hubby is so relaxed on holiday he just wants to wear shorts and t shirt.
Everyone on my Facebook feed are putting photos of their kids on their first day of school. We're just trying to get through the next week before my 7 yr old has surgery :-(
@LeeBraganza My son started full time from day 1. I think it's better to get them in a routine straight away. The other local primary didn't have them in full time for 4 weeks!
My son is being failed by the NHS. Apparently despite crying in pain it's acceptable for a 7 year old to wait 6 months for a routine appointment (50 miles away) because his referral has been downgraded from urgent by someone who has never met him 😢
