@MichaelAdamsUk@ShaunInBrum@Corriepedia Yeah, he was selling the business to buy the builder’s yard.
I think Kevin still owns the arch itself as Gary was just renting it from him (at least originally).
@CorrieArt@MichaelAdamsUk A real shame given he was a Barlow and an Ogden. It’s a shame Sandra Gough’s return led to killing David & Darren off, only for her to want out relatively quickly afterwards.
@mattFarris I think Corrie does the opposite, it retains too many (it gets returns spot on generally, using to shore up families), hence the mainstays are people that shouldn’t have lasted much more than a few years meaning you now have Kirk Sutherland above Bet Lynch in tenure.
@TheTuftandQuiff A few times. Dot’s single hander had Pretty Baby, and a few other episodes have had other songs.
There are also the variants of the theme that your question didn’t cover, Kathy’s Theme, Peggy’s Theme, Pat’s Theme & Dot’s Theme.
@mkenn80 It really was. I’m just disappointed we didn’t get at least one last scene with Grant, Phil & Nigel together, which was making me wonder what was keeping them apart. It would’ve been nice if Nigel’s death brought the Mitchell brothers closer together again, perhaps it will.
@mkenn80@mark_moo@rose_symphony3 Not to mention he helped catch her Dad’s murderer.
Yes, he played a part in both Sharon & Michelle leaving the Square, but they had good lives there.
I guess the only thing was once the truth came out about Grant being Mark’s Father, her family fell apart, but not his fault.
@CorrieArt@MichaelAdamsUk The second bedroom was off towards the bathroom until recently, until that bathroom corridor changed. It’s really odd that the shop has never been extended out back.
