The Kylie doc makes me love her even more. It has it all - nostalgia, candid commentary, revelations, raw emotion, cringey questions on chat shows from back in the day, The Hit Factory - and even a cameo from Kylie Flinker!

@RyanSoapKing25 I really fear Eastenders is where Neighbours was a few years before THE END. Constantly looking to the past and bringing back every former character under the sun instead of moving forward with fresh stories and new characters with no connections to the past.

When Nigel made that surprise return to #Eastenders on Christmas Eve 2024, who knew how brilliantly this story would unfold over the next 18 months - including a Pat Butcher cameo and chickens moving onto the Square. It was tragic, funny, nostalgic and sadly all too realistic. 👏

@Adamski_Thom @presley23 The heritage and future possibilities weren’t really taken into consideration back then.
I think Doug’s absence was explained in that he was away working. In fairness, it looked like Cody was fine and would survive.

@Adamski_Thom @presley23 I never understood why they killed Cody though. Once the few episodes played out after her death, Pam returned to Darwin and there was basically nobody left on Ramsay Street to really mourn her. It was an odd choice.
