Talk about bending over backwards for Farage
First off Bruce questioned whether Farage had ever filmed a video saying up the IRA for £85 - a fact which should be well known to any political journalist
Then she was told in her ear he had
And subsequently she put out the Farage line he had been tricked
When the questioner was making the point about whether a man ( who accepted a secret gift of £5m from a crypto billionaire) could be trusted if he would say Up the IRA for £85…
The point is about judgement, integrity and trustworthiness
Farage demonstrated a lack of discriminating judgement. If he would do that in pursuit of £85 what would he say and do for £5m ? It’s a fair question
BBC displaying no backbone and letting Farage dictate the agenda . Again
