After a run of unusually bunk summers, California surf has been overhead at better spots for over a week with no sign of letting up for another week+
In general it's been good for over a month.
Water a solid 70 and it's not even officially summer yet.
Let the good times roll🤙
I'm not taking fat pills. Don't need 'em.
But if someone comes up with a pill that stops hair from growing in my nose or edges of my ears, I'll consider.

I went back to the Tijuana River in San Diego County.
Raw sewage and toxic waste STILL flowing freely into our state from Mexico. Gavin Newsom has STILL not declared a state of emergency, as local leaders demand.
It is completely unacceptable. As governor I WILL declare a state of emergency so we can bring an end to this scandal.
@SteveHiltonx No denying Gavin has been totally silent and absent on this matter.
Yet the issue is no secret, locals, including local politicians and media have been very vocal about the problem for years.
It is solvable.
@JoshRainerGold Nowadays, only surfers retain a similarly natural athleticism due to the functional nature of exercise involved in the sport. I’m so happy I surf. I respect the discipline of gym bros, but that type of repetitive grind could never be my primary fitness vector.
@RealJamesPierce There are many. Surfing is high up there.
Unlike some, such as reading or golf, it's best begun fairly early. Can't really think of anyone who became good after starting in their 20s.
But I think simple curiosity is probably the best antidote to boredom. Stay fascinated.
@sergededina Really hard to believe this is still happening. It would be inexcusable to allow it to continue for an extended time, say more than a year or two. We're now into decades, ie generations of human existence. I'm not sure what to call it.
@SecKennedy real health concern here.
