@leifshair @PhilMickelson Go check the rules bud. Same rule applies for Team USA and was used by them in prior years. Team USA lost it in the pairs stages, but total respect for the individuals. That’s what we all want to see. Sometimes the rules go in your favour, sometimes they don’t.

@jwalker888 @tommysnips @PhilMickelson No professional sportsperson wants to miss out. It was a shame for Hojgaard and English, and I’m sure Rasmus would have given just about anything to compete. It’s not a rule that’s applied often, but it’s the agreed solution.

Some people simply do not understand “the spirit of the game”. By the way, congratulations to both sides and to Team USA for making it the spectacle it was.
