I would take this a step farther and say: If we are burning out any of the human parts of our educational system (administrators, teachers, paraeducators, school counselors, social workers, school psychs, students), then we have serious problems that warrant solutions
Psychological safety is a key interpersonal construct that enables deep, open collaboration. PLCs, grade-level meetings, department meetings, and school improvement work in general will limp along if educators do not feel safe to speak truth for fear of being negatively judged
