Very possible Putin was working with Israel in Syria. But not to save Assad, just to keep the war going so the Syrian army would be destroyed, which was Israel’s top goal. Deputy CIA director Michael Morell talked about wanting a balance where no one wins and both sides keep killing each other. He talked about reducing aid to the ‘opposition’ (Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham) when appropriate to accomplish this. Israelis talked about a ‘tie’ where no one wins but the killing continues, as a beneficial outcome. This may have even been the reason Putin intervened in 2015, and why his warplanes did so much destruction in Syria, because at the end of the day Putin works for Chabad. Assad was facing a well armed jihadist insurgency supported by all his neighbors, so had little choice but to let Putin in. Russia betrayed him in the end as we know.

The truth about the "peace process" in the supposedly "post conflict" occupied six counties.

Much has been said in recent days, both locally and internationally, about the action (or inaction), ideology, and role of the many armed factions that continue to exist in the north eastern part of Ireland. Truth be told, the vast majority of "analysis" wasn't based in reality whatsoever.

The biggest driving force and motivation for these armed factions to keep a lid on their respective communities and ensure the continuation of this "imperfect peace" and the adoption of liberal politics isn't ideological, it isn't done out of the goodness of anyones heart, it is simply a matter of the world's oldest temptation: money.

Not many people realise just how lucrative of an endeavour this "peace" process has been thus far. Republicans & loyalists, under the guise of various community groups, reconciliation organisations, ex-prisoner networks, and restorative justice fronts have availed of BILLIONS upon billions of "funding opportunities" since the capitulation of 1998. The EU, USA, UK, and various other sources all continue to contribute to these schemes.

These various scams ensure that yesterday's hard-men can retain positions of authority within their communities, while often being given a free hand to simultaneously engage in criminality while receiving this funding - all with a single stipulation; to ensure that no effective political movements or campaigns arise in their respective areas.

For as long as schemes like these continue to shovel billions to the copious front organisations, we're not likely to see any divergence from the status quo from these alleged "defenders of the community", and the most underprivileged areas of the North will continue to be deprived of investment.

Whether it is in Stormont or the streets: financial corruption will keep these six counties in political limbo, as we have been since 1998. It's all a scam.
