Calibrate Ventures

Calibrate is a venture capital firm investing in deep tech applied at scale that will transform major industries and our future. Let's talk!

[EON @EON_events]

Meet our #EON2026 keynote speakers: @RussTedrake, @samanfarid, and Les Karpas.

Russ co-founded @WaldenRobotics, which recently emerged from stealth announcing $300 million in initial financing. Previously he served as Senior Vice President at Toyota Research Institute where he pioneered large behavior models, robotic learning, and dexterous manipulation.

Saman is Founder and CEO of @goformic, a robotics-as-a-service company helping U.S. manufacturers deploy automation at scale. Previously, he led Baidu Ventures’ $600 million global investment fund and founded Comet Labs, an AI-focused fund and incubator. He now serves as an investor or board member for more than 25 robotics, technology, and AI companies.

Les is the Inception Global Head of Physical AI at @nvidia and an EON Advisory Board member. He is building his session around a central question: How do we turn human experience and simulated worlds into robots that perform useful work reliably?

Join them at EON this November 11-12 in Santa Monica for conversations, connection, and discussions exploring how AI is moving from bold ideas to real-world implementation. https://t.co/7fs4Bv6KTX

The countdown to @EON_events is on!

In less than a month, the Calibrate team will gather at the Santa Monica Proper with innovators, founders, engineers, executives, academics, and investors at the forefront of physical AI for a two-day unconference focused on deploying the autonomous future.

We’re excited to hear from speakers @RussTedrake (@WaldenRobotics), @samanfarid (@goformic), and Les Karpas (@nvidia)---and we can’t wait for a fifth year of real, candid dialogue and connection.

At the recent @Fellows_Forum, @WaldenRobotics Co-Founder @adnothing discussed how choosing where to deploy a robot shapes both its design and what it gets to learn. Tune into the panel “The Reality Gap: Taking Physical AI from Lab to Production” at https://t.co/gjqIylPhLi

[Calibrate Ventures @CalibrateVC]

In a new @medcitynews feature, @RegardApp Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Kirk discusses how AI can integrate into healthcare’s existing culture of team-based oversight. He explores why the closer AI gets to clinical decision-making, the more care must be used in implementing safe limits and ensuring it supports the human side of medicine.

What does it actually take to deploy robots that work alongside people?

In a recorded talk from Actuate 2026, @CobotCorp's Engin Burak Anil discusses the practical engineering required to make robots useful in the real world: designing for uptime, handling edge cases, and building systems that can keep operating and improving once they leave the lab.

“Working with real-world life sciences data is challenging, and the reason has nothing to do with its size,” writes @manifold_ai Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer @resdntalien. “The questions live in one place while the data lives in another.”

Manifold is closing this gap with a data semantic layer that lets people ask in the language of science and guarantees the translation underneath. Learn more at

Last year at EON: @GrayMatterRobot CEO and co-founder @ariyankabir shared how his company is building the factories of the future today. His vision is one of empowered workers, safer workplaces, and an accelerated path toward building a more prosperous society.

This is what EON is built for: conversations with innovators and visionaries about what's possible with AI, and what we're building and deploying on the way.

Apply to join us at #EON2026, where you'll experience meaningful dialogue among the brightest minds in AI and discuss actionable solutions to deploy AI that make real business impact. https://t.co/7fs4Bv6KTX

At #EON2026, a group of AI leaders, founders, developers, investors, and academics will gather for unscripted conversations and thought-provoking panels centered around our theme: "Deploying the Autonomous Future."

“EON always fosters lively conversations that help fuel the next great AI innovations and help drive industry forward," says EON Co-founder and @CalibrateVC Co-founder and Managing Partner Jason Schoettler.

100 seats, by invitation. Sold out every year since 2022.

.@WaldenRobotics Co-Founder and CEO @RussTedrake is one of @masslivenews' most influential innovators of 2026.

"Walden is taking a deliberately pragmatic approach in a field often defined by hype. Rather than developing fully humanoid robots, the company combines a two-armed humanoid torso with a wheeled base, a design Tedrake says can perform a wide range of factory tasks while being far easier to certify for safety," writes Scott Kirsner. "Notably, the company was already running a robot pilot test at a North American Toyota plant within a few months of forming."
