@xurbanxcowboyx@altviewcoin@left_on_alpha The DA has been very good on this (in contrast to Chesa who refused to prosecute Hondo drug dealers on the grounds they were trafficking victims) but she's hamstrung by certain leftist superior ct. judges, most of whom were public defenders before they were elected to the court.
@xurbanxcowboyx@altviewcoin@left_on_alpha In this city - it does. It's the feds who've done the major work of smashing up the Hondo cartels because the city/county of SF routinely catch and release the dealers in a never-ending cycle.
@plutosavior@Variety She built a media company over 6 years that sold for over $150 million and has over 1 million subscribers, 1/4 of them paid. Sounds like she's a founder and a builder and you're a jealous scold with nothing to your name at all.
@edmundbillings@Variety Why does she owe Scott Pelley an explanation? Sounds like more misogynistic bullshit - "the little woman owes the man an explanation when he asks!"
@xurbanxcowboyx They began restricting cars on the lower stretch of Market long before Covid. Though I agree with you that the pandemic definitely played a role. The entire thing felt like it was not well thought out whenever it was done.
@mattconvente@bariweiss 1. That's unfair to Bari 2. It's not Pelley's place to "take a stand" against corporate leadership. Pelley was a correspondent, not a board member and his tirade ended in the most cringe, predictable way possible - with his termination. He influenced and solved exactly nothing.
@mattconvente@bariweiss A stand against what, exactly? Ratings while he was a correspondent were down 25% in a decade, under Bari's leadership they're up 9%. In the end, that's all that's gonna matter.
@cremieuxrecueil Yes this is the logical outcome of the gay and lesbian movement being overtaken by gender goblins and sex pests. Now, we're all paying the price.
