@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Yeah on me for that one but blacks still commit child abuse more in proportion to their population while white people commit less in proportion to their population, per capita lol
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 If you look up child abuse rates by race this is the first thing that pops up. Then a ton of other sources supporting the same stats.
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Look up the wrongful conviction rate across all races. Then based on the conviction rate figure out the rate black people are convicted at. Then use that 6% figure to narrow down the felony percentage per 100 adults by race. Everything looks stupid to those unwilling to to learn
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 That source is for the incarceration rate based on the innocence project, which you should be aware of if you’re talking about wrongful convictions and false incarceration. The rest I used basic mental math on because it’s pretty simple.
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Also id imagine youd be with me on this one since you clearly understand violent crime per capita. You say black people are more likely to be falsely incarcerated and are more likely to be shot by police, but you won’t say they’re more likely to be felons and commit violent crime
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Other ethnicities and races in the US. That means that the number of felons that are black would be adjusted to 9.5-14%, and whites would be adjusted to nearly 4% so my point still stands
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 It does because the wrongful conviction rate is much lower than the rate at which blacks commit violent crime and the wrongful conviction rate for just blacks sheds that number even lower. The number of black adults that are felons would still be higher than whites
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 If one baker bakes 100 cookies and 3-5 are bad, and another bakes 100 cookies where 10-15 are bad, which baker would you be more wary of? (This is about adults with felonies by race) food for thought since ya need it
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Not at all. Body worn camera mandates have shown that one group of people is more likely to act like retards during traffic stops, additionally one group of people commits violent crime at a higher rate than any other group and has a higher rate of becoming felons.
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Like you said earlier, we wouldn’t know since it didn’t happen so that’s an invalid statement, but I agree since if they were black they likely wouldn’t have been nearly as calm as the white people and probably would’ve been screaming and yelling at the cop the whole time 😭
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 You’re just ragebaiting atp 😭 keep grossly overestimating statistical improbabilities I guess, at least you understand what per capita means
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Well that would depend on the lottery (you have a better chance of winning the lottery on lottery’s other than powerball) but that is an example of statistical improbability just like your example when you implied they would be shot if black😭
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 It’s basic logic that you are grossly overestimating low statistics. It’s also basic logic not to assume something will happen when the chance is nearly 100/20,000,000.
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Because 20M traffic stops occur yearly, 1000-1200 people of all races are shot by police during traffic stops yearly, 100 of which of all colors are unarmed, a decent percentage of those people are shot because they suddenly reached or were not complying or holding a fake gun.
@thefateoftswift@MitchD4670@VnMn22019093 Sure we can’t know for sure but we can easily infer based on statistical evidence on the very low likelihood, I could win the lottery tomorrow but I probably wouldn’t?
