Where does farming fit? The 🇪🇺 Nature Restoration Act leaves little space for agriculture, forestry and horticulture in Europe’s future in its current form! The lack of real and the extreme positions expressed endanger the future of the sustainable development of 🇪🇺agriculture!

🗓️ Last weekend I participated as a Vice Dean at the Faculty of Management and Rural Development and as Vice President of Copa (@COPACOGECA) at the #RuralYouthParliament event, in the Southern Region of Romania, a fascinating initiative that brings together passionate young people and gives them a platform to debate and engage in community life.

🎙️ This event, which is part of the Rural Youth Parliament project, was organised by LAG Napoca Porolissum (@GalNapoca) in partnership with National Federation PRO AGRO (@FProagro) and with the active involvement of young people Daria Georgescu and Călin Pădure (@calinpdr). Daria and Călin are two talented young high school students who hosted the event, moderated the event and coordinated the discussions, creating a memorable atmosphere in the rural cafe.

☕ The #RuralCafe is an interactive and engaging way to bring young people to the forefront of public debate. It is an excellent opportunity for them to express their ideas, develop their communication skills and actively contribute to rural communities.

👦 The young people asked questions, were attentive and, of course, a little excited by our presence. It was a time full of warmth, pertinent questions and interesting discussions. Dear students, I am glad to have met you and wish you all the best for the future!

📢 Rural Youth Parliament Erasmus + is an effective tool for improving social and communication skills, promoting freedom of expression and finding solutions to problems for rural communities.

▶️ The next meeting will be the #NationalEdition of #RuralYouthParliament is planned for 28th-30th of June in Sângeorz Băi, Bistrița-Năsăud county, Romania.

🤝 Thanks to the organizers for the invitation and congratulations for this successful event! It was an honor to be among the speakers and special guests of the #RuralCafe in the southern region and I hope to see you with the same positive energy at the next edition!

Between 24-27 Feb I wasn’t only a high school student. I had the great honor of representing 🇭🇷 in the Military Committee at the 9th edition of Bucharest Model NATO at the Palace of the Parliament. I’m glad to see that our resolutions are having a voice in real life.
