Cost per kilogram to orbit already allows profitable data centers in space and once both stages are reusable it will be another 10x+ more profitable.

The scale does not reduce the viability of the idea.

Not to mention that it would require ~400,000 of these "data centers" to provide the compute Elon is claiming to target.

They've put 10k satellites in orbit in 20 years. Starship keeps blowing up and is a failed design.

Also, each of these would require wholesale replacement if something breaks, unless they plan to have astronaut data center technicians launched into space any time something goes wrong.

None of this make sense and all these weirdos jerking Elon off are going to be left holding the bag. Fuck em.
