People defending INEOS clearly don’t understand how important pre-season is for a coach. This isn’t just about saving money. It’s about giving the manager the best possible chance to implement his ideas and have a great campaign.

Żaden topowy zespół nie gra takimi skrzydłowymi jak MBE, za to wszyscy grają takimi zawodnikami jak Sancho i Antony. Daleko nie trzeba szukać, wystarczy zobaczyć, kto biega na flankach właśnie w City.

Sancho and Antony would look better in a stable possession based system. United struggle to control games and it forces their wingers to score goals on the counter which is why Rashford is so good for them. They would both be good players in City's 3241 where the wingers act more like midfielders than attackers. A more stable system will highlight their good qualities and I think some (not all) of the criticism they get is unfair.

He’s reasonably good at a lot of things but not elite at any of them. We need specialists.
