Thank you to @Campbells and @TurnerDuckworth for trusting myself and my brother @ichibandon to do the music for their re-branding campaign.
It's such a privilege and an honor to be helping one of the most iconic household brands of the past few generations.
You don't need an MBA or fancy degree to build a kickass business.
In reality, your degree is probably a crutch that's holding you back from getting your hands dirty.
I did boxing and kickboxing sparring today for the first time in months...with a fractured rib and a sprained neck.
It's amazing what the body is capable of doing if you just push through a little pain.
Don't take advice from crack dealers.
Look to the wise words of history, not the latest hype.
The greatest minds of the past have so much to teach us:
Miyamoto Musashi was a legendary Japanese swordsman and philosopher who lived from 1584 to 1645.
He developed his own style of swordsmanship, wrote The Book of Five Rings, and became a Kensei, a sword-saint of Japan.
His life was full of challenges, adventures, and insights that we can learn from today.
Here are some powerful lessons that he taught us:
Lesson 1: Know yourself and your enemy.
To be successful in any endeavor, you need to understand your own strengths and weaknesses, as well as those of your competitors and adversaries. You need to study the situation and adapt your strategy accordingly.
Lesson 2: Seek constant improvement.
To achieve excellence in any field, you need to practice your skills and knowledge every day. You need to challenge yourself and learn from your experiences. You need to never stop growing and evolving.
Lesson 3: Be flexible and creative.
To overcome any obstacle, you need to be open-minded and innovative. You need to use different tools and methods, depending on the circumstances. You need to surprise and outsmart your opponents.
Lesson 4: Live with honor and integrity.
To live a meaningful life, you need to follow your principles and values. You need to respect yourself and others, and not take advantage of their weaknesses. You need to fight for what is right and just.
Lesson 5: Find harmony and balance. To find peace and happiness, you need to accept the reality of life and death. You need to live each day as if it were your last, with gratitude and serenity. You need to find the way in everything.
The person on this army badge is Enver Pasha, one of the Ottoman officials who planned and organized the 1915 genocide, during which around 1.5 million Armenians perished in Ottoman Turkey.
Enver is still hailed as a national hero in Turkey. Turkey's president praises him and its nationalists lionize him.
This Twitter account, with over 100,000 followers, posted the photo below. The statement on the badge and the caption reads: "Don't run, Armenian. [If you do,] You'll just die tired!” Look at the likes and retweets it has received.
They are not hiding their intentions. Right now, Azerbaijan - with the support of Turkey – is starving, torturing, murdering, expelling Armenian Christians once again, as they did 108 years ago. The world remains indifferent and inactive.
Has the international community no spine, no backbone, no moral and military strength to stop these bloodthirsty, genocidal maniacs once and for all? Once and for all. Or do they just not care about Armenian lives?
@Tom_deWaal Thank you Mr. De Waal! In fact, your book gave me first ideas to think about this conflict. This was when I was in high school, and I didn’t have many alternative ideas other than AzGov propaganda. I appreciate for that.
Why are we human beings so shitty to one another?
From dictators bombing innocent civilians all the way down to men and women betraying their significant others.
We're all we got, and all we do is break each other down.
"Was it you who cut the heads of these Armenian bastards?"
"Yeah I did it. I cut the head of the Armenian."
"Also in the court, I was saying that they are just Armenians, why is it a big deal?"
This is what my people have been dealing with since these nomads arrived. 🖕🏼🤬🖕🏼
Today terrorist #Aliyev hit Armenian civilians by firing 3 rockets. All 3 rockets were launched with the aim of killing civilians of 🇦🇲Armenia. and rockets were launched from Tar-Tar district. The people of Tar-Tar predicted the places where the rockets would bomb and were very happy. I will say until the end: Aliyev and his government are a terrorist government, and Aliyev has turned Azerbaijan into a terrorist state.
