Great send off for @stef18881 yesterday. Very moving tribute from his brother. If you wish to donate in his memory, his family have asked for donations as noted

Solidarity with our Muslim sisters and brothers of Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre on Albert Road, facing attacks by right-wing protestors. We, in the Catholic community in Scotland are well aware of how it feels to face regular abuse at our places of worship. Our thoughts are with you.
Sad news has been received of the death of Stephen McLaughlin yesterday. Stephen was a stalwart of our campaign from the very earliest days. He was a fine socialist and a gentleman. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
God Bless the parishioners of St Alphonsus who have had to endure yet more vandalism and desecration of their church. There are fewer than 60 streets in Glasgow with a Catholic church in them and yet these are the ones that are most often the target of such vile desecration
A good general meeting held on Tuesday (9/9/25). Supporters were brought up to date with recent activities. A number of positive proposals came forward and more detail will be sent out next week.
In amongst all the coverage about Sturgeon's book, I found this comment. So why, while she was - checks notes - running the country did she not ask her civil servants to engage with our community to address these issues? Why did she never mention it in Parliament?
🚨 PAISLEY SACRILEGE
A 39-year-old man has been charged after gravestones were smashed and a crucifix set on fire at St Conval’s Cemetery.
Not vandalism — blasphemy.
🙏 Respond with prayer & reparation.
✝️ Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord…

What a day for the Irish in Glasgow. A wonderful event, a great turnout and a celebration of everything that is great about our community. Well done to the organisers! #stPatricksDay2025
Today's St Patrick's Day parade through Glasgow was a genuinely historic moment. It was a happy joyful celebration of our National Day and our national saint. The smiles of the young and the not-so-young, the clear evidence of the strength of our language, sport, music
