Denzel Washington said his name is not pronounced “Den-ZEL.” It’s pronounced “DEN-zel.”
Jimmy Kimmel: Did you know that there are currently four players named Denzel in the NFL?
Denzel Washington: I know.
Jimmy Kimmel: And before your…
Denzel Washington: There's a lot of Denzels now.
Jimmy Kimmel: There weren't that many before your first Oscar. There were zero in 1987.
Denzel Washington: And this is how you know they named themselves after me. Because, wait a minute, because my name is not pronounced Den-ZEL. My name is pronounced DEN-zel.
Jimmy Kimmel: Oh.
NEW: A Texas neighborhood was forced to go on lockdown after an 18-wheeler flipped over, releasing 24 *million* honeybees.
The truck was carrying more than 400 hives with about 60,000+ bees in each hive when the truck driver lost control and flipped into a ditch.
Locals in Orange County, Texas, were told to seal their windows and remain inside their houses.
One local beekeeper who volunteered to help estimates that only about 25% of the beehives will survive, noting that survival depends on whether the queens remain alive.
The bees were reportedly being transported to North Dakota when the truck driver made a wrong turn and ended up in a neighborhood.
The truck flipped when the driver tried taking a sharp corner.
It's unclear how many people were stung.

A rude stranger bumped into a woman at a supermarket, didn't apologize, and kept walking. She won $10 MILLION because of it.
– LaQuedra Edwards had $40. That was her lottery budget. Forty dollars, same as always.
– In November 2021, she walked into a Vons supermarket in Tarzana, Los Angeles, fed her $40 into the Scratchers vending machine, and started picking her usual cheaper tickets.
– Then someone walked into her from behind.
– Hard enough to knock her hand into the wrong button.
– Out came a $30 ticket she never asked for.
– A single ticket had just swallowed 75% of her entire budget.
– The man didn't stop. Didn't turn around or even say a word. He just walked out the door.
– She stood there, annoyed, holding a ticket she didn't want.
– She got in her car and started scratching while still annoyed.
– Then she stopped. She looked at the ticket. Then looked again.
– She got on the 405 freeway, one of the busiest highways in America, and could not stop glancing down at what was in her hand.
– She almost crashed her car.
– She pulled over, opened the California Lottery app and scanned the ticket.
– She said this out loud “This can't be right” and she scanned it again.
– The $30 ticket she bought by accident was the top prize winner. 10 MILLION dollars won by accident.
– *"All I remember saying once I found out how much I just won was: I'm rich."*
– She bought a house and she started a nonprofit.
– The Vons store got a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
– The man who bumped into her never found out.

Samuel L. Jackson has long said his favorite movie he’s starred in is the 1996 action-thriller 'The Long Kiss Goodnight.' Turns out his co-star Geena Davis feels likewise.
“It’s my favorite too,” Davis tells Deadline. “I’m supposed to say Thelma & Louise because that movie is irreplaceable, but I have to say, I had so much fun with Sam and we’ve always wished that we could do a sequel”
