@michaelmiraflor Not my bag, but it's a good billboard with its logo garden headfake gimmick for sure. Also, I think this freeway intersection is close to where the old, garish Yahoo ad used to be. Poetic.
But I disagree, I think it’s important for Israelis to go and vote. Was at an event with an Israeli woman who is flying out tonight to go vote. “No real Israeli flies El Al” she said. El Al is more expensive because they’re in cahoots with Bibi’s far right movement and have inflated ticket prices since Oct 7th. First I heard of it. United is the aviation brand of the coastal Levantine peoples. If they can get the Haredim to serve I’m convinced 1/2 of all problems will go away. But will Israel continue being the only Western power replacing its population with the Haredim busy tinkering with Rafael defense systems though? Much to ponder Mama
Definitely the most justifiable use of the phrase “I was there when it was cool” because in the span of 14 years Nashville’s attractive housing prices, music industry, entertainment industry, tax breaks, remote work + ZIRP era benefits have brought families and professionals in by the masses from neighboring states creating a unique mix of socio economic strata unlike the rest of the USA. I know because when I worked on DiGiorno pizza we did loads of focus groups there to get a good read on what the nation wants when it comes to frozen pizza. Now it’s a total pile on; a narrative that speaks in multitudes, no central core aside from American heritage essence that is being threatened by rich progressives with nut milks who are childless, who have never been to a shooting range or ever drank rye whiskey. It’s the Paris of the West and it too is burning.
