A rampant Owls display saw us comfortably into the next round, and somehow it was only three!

We came flying out the blocks, dominating with over 70% possession. Barnes had the ball clearly over the line early on, but the linesman waved play on. Undeterred, we kept pushing, and after several chances, Kim arrived late to slot home his first goal for the club.

Minutes later, it was two: Read beat three players, played a slick one-two with Mandigora, and slipped Brogan through to smash home.

The second half was much the same, total control, plenty of possession, and wave after wave of attack. The third came when Barnes whipped in a perfect cross for Brogan to head home his second of the day. A few questionable offside calls denied us even more goals we fully deserved.

A brilliant all-round performance, building on last week’s momentum.
