@remain_hidden_x @grok@NeobornCaveman@realMaalouf increases the prices of properties in the city significantly. Airbnb and other types of holiday lets sit empty most of the year but due to revenue potential they are high in demand which pushes prices up to the points where it is unaffordable for the natives to buy a property.
@rahhead01@JohnStockdale2@RupertLowe10 It shouldn’t be a crime. No one should be jailed for anything they say online or otherwise. The people who committed those atrocious acts are solely responsible for their own crimes. Same way it’s always been up until recently.
@miccrow@Suspension80883@RupertLowe10 The consequences of free speech are usually things like criticism, ostracism maybe even losing your job. If you can be jailed for speech then you do not have free speech.
@rahhead01@JohnStockdale2@RupertLowe10 No hahaha obviously I am saying that we need to change the sentencing guidelines. If you rape a woman you need to go straight to jail and you need to rot there for a very long time.
@rahhead01@JohnStockdale2@RupertLowe10 I think you’re missing the point. Yes there are different sentencing guidelines for crimes like sexual assault that mean that people who commit these crimes are getting shorter sentences than people being sentenced for tweets. But that’s exactly the issue, that’s two tier justice
@tomorrowland we got all the way to the point where we were putting in card details after we provided everyone’s details and then got told the package had expired and sent back to the beginning of the queue again… what is going on?!??? #tomorrowland#globaljourney
@FactualPhilemon@Ghost_Foxguy@bariweiss 1834 - William the 4th sacked his cabinet and a general election was held soon after. The lib dem history group did a good write up on it (https://t.co/a8eb2qLsmp)
@EdConwaySky@reformparty_uk@Nigel_Farage But emigration from UK is consistently above 500k? so you still have an additional 400k headroom for essential workers before you hit net zero. But you already know this and have decided to mislead your audience anyway.
@RomanGuy20@RayGuero@EndWokeness I live in a country where guns are banned. The only people with guns are criminals and some specially trained police. When you make firearms illegal it turns out the guns find their way to people who don’t care for the law
@SurLiott9@MarkHyman@AldenDoble@amuse@WallStreetSilv They have enforcement agents. If you ignore their letters they’ll eventually come around and try to catch you watching TV. I think one fifth of enforcement visits results in a fine. Used to be £1000 fine but not sure what it is now.
