A tale of two wheat stands.
Only difference between these two fields (less than a 1/4 mile apart) was what harvested the corn. @CalmerCornHeads stalk rolls for the win.
Same wheat variety, seeding rate, fertility, etc. Finished drilling one field and jumped right into the next, all settings were the same.
We didn’t go out to the field trying to prove the Calmer head was better. I have not grown wheat much and wanted the adjuster to tell me what was worth keeping. We had very little fall growth and some cold snaps with no snow cover.
Only after doing a few stand counts did we realize what the common variable was. I’m impressed in the difference!
