@Future_n_Stuff@gmiller@elonmusk You think that just because something costs basically nothing to manufacture or distribute that companies will just freely hand over product? What about supply and demand? You're assuming these robots will be able to produce at, or greater, than demand requires.
@SmithSmithy8@VikesRock23@gmiller@elonmusk Universal basic income is a term for providing for people in the lower class. When AI and robots cause unemployment to skyrocket (probably north of 60-75%), everyone will need money to sustain their current way of living, not just the lower class. e.g. "universal high income"
@elonmusk And when nobody has a job because they've all been replaced by AI and robots, your company is just going to hand out free money, right? I mean, how else are we going to survive and/or buy your products when unemployment is 75%+? Need to start solving that problem now! Not later.
@elonmusk Your AI, robotics, and automation are going to demolish birth rates. People don't want to start families now because they can't afford it. What are you doing about unemployment as you continue to push automation? AI and robotics will destroy the job market in 5-10 years.
@elonmusk@elonmusk you're worried about birthrates now? Wait until AI eliminates 90% of all jobs. You think anyone is going to be able to raise a family like that? Unless something changes quickly, we're all in for a rude awakening in 5-10 years.
@Disney@YouTubeTV I will cancel you both if you don't get this figured out. Companies making billions of dollars and trying to figure out how to get even more from your customers. You want money, how about paying your execs less and passing those savings to your customers??!!
@Disney@YouTube Screw both of you! Bunch of money hungry businesses that don't care about the end user. You both only care about squeezing every bit of money out of the customer that you can. Figure this out or I'm out altogether. Don't increase my cost either!
