This might sound like nothing but this is one of the most extraordinary revealing things Israel has said.
In the words of Israeli officials themselves Nasrallah literally died because he refused a side deal that abandoned the Palestinians.
In effect this man labelled "terrorist" died because he refused to yield on what all UN resolutions and the immense majority of the international community have been calling for ceaselessly. Except he, unlike those others, had teeth.
So, unlike what so many people are saying, the real reason for his death isn't because "Hezbollah are terrorists and they're bad" but so Israel can pursue its land grab and ethnic cleansing unimpeded. He was one of the only ones actually willing to make them face accountability for it and, in their own words, that's why he had to die.
Long thread:
The story and treatment of Marieha Hussain is one of the most alarming, ludicrous and unbelievable I’ve ever witnessed. It is a story of eye-wateringly blatant state racism, media complicity in that racism, police manipulation and cultural incompetence. And it is a story that must now end with the resignation of Stephen Parkinson, the current Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). His position is untenable as he has turned the @CPSUK into a free-speech threatening laughing stock.

We have declared a dispute with @SOAS, following their proposals to cut classes that support international students. 34 staff face a fire and rehire process and are at risk of redundancy https://t.co/Jv9sf5ETkM
Over the past months or so, I began familairizing myself with the poetry, nonfiction, and fiction from and/or related to Sudan, and seeing how Sudan isn't talked about too often within the public space, here is a thread on Sudanese literature for those wanting to read more (🧵):
"The Israelis have released 117 Palestinians in the last 3 days & in that same time they've detained 116 new Palestinian prisoners.. across the occupied West Bank"
The Harvard Law Review refused to run this piece about genocide in Gaza. The piece was nearing publication when the journal decided against publishing it. You can read the article here:

Yeah so you remember how civilians are trying to flee to the south? They just bombed them as they’re fleeing south.
They bombed civilians trying to escape bombing. A massacre just took place. No where is safe. No where.
