@NcAsthana@HappymonJacob Why the heck Foreign Ministry had to gear up to denounce few foreign tweeter handles? Are they threat to the Nation. It is not an attack on our sovereignty. I regularly commented on internal affairs of US specially cursing Trump during his Presidency. White House never protested.
Why did the PM of India comment on the assault on the Capitol building in Washington by the Trump storm troopers?
It is sad that someone erudite and worldly wise like Mr S Jaishankar should allow such puerile reactions by the MEA?
Why did MEA comment on the military coup in Myanmar? Why is it “deeply concerning” to the MEA?
Why does MEA regularly comment on issues that are “internal” to Sri Lanka and Nepal?
It is good that Rihanna and Greta Thunberg can wake up the MEA.
Come on MEA, when will you realize that people concerned with issues of human rights and livelihoods do not recognize national boundaries?
The unfolding events in India are troubling. As a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, I am closely monitoring the situation. The right to peaceful protest must always be respected. #FarmersProtest
Students are paid. Protestors are paid. Farmers are paid. Now, Rihanna is paid as well. You’d require quite the budget for her. She is worth USD 600 mil according to Forbes. Just saying. #FarmersProtest
You pass laws without reason and debate. You don't pay heed to protests. You block protesters from exercising their right. You block dissent and official handles on social media. Stop crying wolf.
Propaganda is being made to believe that the Govt and country aren't separate and anyone against the govt is against the country.
