@Jojoyeah514834@RyanNPike My understand is that salary caps are pro-rated if signed after the season starts... @JeanFrancoisCBA is the expert on all things contracts - is that true?
@LostJoshPython@ThomasDrance I'm not sure there's any scenario where you could be an RFA at 30? Definitely not this one. At 26 with over 300 NHL games played, he would surely already be past the RFA cutoffs.
@LordDSofCanada@abbas_rana1@MarkJCarney To be fair, the Vanguard S&P500 ETF is also up 11% over that same period, so Brookfield is not crazy over-performing, especially given many Canadian financial institutions have had major gains. The S&P/TSX Composite Index Banks (INDEXTSI: TXBA) is up over 40% in that same time.
@Prominent_Bryan@Cadeyrnn You can debate the real power of student unions, but having an executive for external affairs is salient as a main point of contact with businesses who may have contracts or leases to provide services, advocacy with governmental and non-governmental organizations, and media.
@MeatPolitics@MisterOrimoloye@SportsnetSpec Czechia's captain is Roman Cervenka who plays in the Czech Extraliga even though there are a few full-time NHLers on the team. He has over 128 games of senior international play vs. highest NHLer (Pastrnak at 48).
@bloch_wyatt@DJHeerMusic You have to wait until the games are played to know what the results are.
In 2018-19, after 35 games, STL was 15-16-4. They finished 45-28-9 and won the Cup. Canucks are 15-17-3 after 35 games.
Not saying I believe we'll make the playoffs, but you can't say it's over yet.
@JeanFrancoisCBA@phillihp55@patersonjeff It's an honour to be corrected by the CBA expert! I stand corrected, for some reason, I thought age-20/21 NCAA and CHL could slide too...
@jay_mcd@basedorthodox88@CanadianPolling Think they're referring to the picture which has the party percentages for the LPNL and PCNL vs. the tweet which says LIB (i.e. LPNL).
@Thesuperunk @mateoCDNPOL @stribe39@CanadianPolling 3.0% loss over 2 days, after they only lost 1.8% last week? Not sure you can say your nonsensical argument was misrepresented there.
@Infokid1Infokid @NMBCanada @KeiraAAShaw Does working as a teacher for three years - a job that over 400 000 Canadians do - make you more or less connected to the needs of the average Canadian vs. someone who hasn't worked outside the House of Commons since before he was 24?
@HansDryden @Boddy604 @johnnybarlow90 @Canucks Any player with an NHL contract under 1.15 million sent down to the AHL does not factor into the salary cap. Any player sent down making over 1.15 million will continue to count against the cap (minus 1.15 million).
One-way means same salary in NHL/AHL. Two-way means different.
