PlayStation has been rumored by @mooreslawisdead to be possibly be using social media bots to defend their plan to end physical media, and now a “study” that seems quite fake, appears to be spreading a lie that many disc supports are bots🚀 ✅AI was used to analyze accounts support of PlayStation’s digital-only future ✅Many of them looked suspicious, with recent creation date, AI-generated profile pics, and quite similar patterns in the way they post ✅Ever since we started calling Sony out, and most replies to me that attack me for supporting physical media has been from accounts that are blank with barely any followers, so the theory stands strong that it is Sony that’s using bots to attack physical media supporters ✅Sony is known for lying that physical media isn’t popular, while sales of multiple games including Wolverine, proved the opposite as it sold 35% and 51% physical in the US and Europe, respectively ✅Outrage has been quite strong and gaming media along with mainstream media covered it ✅Many industry figures stood against Sony’s decision to end physical media and reported disdain and resentment within the industry towards Sony Sony keeps sinking to new lows and seemingly using cheap tactics to push their narrative, the same way they appear to calculate MTX, DLC, digital only and free to play as digital sales to make physical sales appear low NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
