Correct. The fact that society has to completely rearrange itself, change law and policy, turn a blind eye to the mutilation of children, rolls back womens rights, aggressively - sometimes violently - enforce groupthink that brute force changes empirical biology AND common sense, all for such a tiny portion of the population is precisely what makes this all so particularly annoying, and why its a battle so worth having.

Nobody gives a shit if a small group of weirdos want to be weirdos off by themselves. Nobody will bother them at all, and most normal ppl would defend them if someone was hassling the weirdos just being weird and minding their own business. But when a tiny fraction of weirdos demand wholesale change to the entirety of society in ways that destroys truth, rolls back gay + womens rights, and actively harms children, yes, theres is going to be a very strong pushback.
