@Naddsuns@Jakanon326330@Riggstalks This is a valid point, I forgot about that because they haven’t been relevant since the beginning of the series. There’s really no need to be a dick during every minor disagreement though
@Naddsuns@Jakanon326330@Riggstalks There’s also this, and the fact that Toji killed megumi’s rabbits with regular rocks. I also vaguely remember a statement that was something to the effect of “I can kill it, but I’d rather exorcise it” but I don’t remember when it was
@Jakanon326330@Riggstalks That’s not true. You can kill them without cursed energy, they just respawn sooner. Cursed energy=exorcism, no cursed energy=killing
@c000game@dog_footy@dissidentwest Even if they were attempting to explicitly say that, that doesn’t guarantee they succeeded at delivering their message. In the case of starship troopers, they didn’t.
@YellowCrusade@manganimist Did you not watch the video? It was clearly a joke, and the fact that he’s joking about it means it will almost definitely continue at some point. Gege wouldn’t even have allowed Yuji to write that if he actually was done with the universe.
@cool30082930@Go_Jover I think it means something more along the lines of “if I ever find myself in such a place, I’m proud to have modulo to look back upon as a guidepost”
@WSS_dcptr Saw just like a month ago that he did a reddit AMA and of course someone asked about this, and he said he’ll probably return to it but it’s years out still, he’s gonna do a full trilogy for the devils and even then it’s not 100%. Also said not to expect an ending
@jojoslyfe21 Can still affect his physical development, which is what I personally believe. I think if it was solely genetic there probably would’ve been some reference to wasuke or jin being super strong, but there’s no real proof either way
@jojoslyfe21 In terms of the actual storytelling, he’s most like Kubo. The way he writes his power system is most like togashi. But the actual fight structure, the way each chapter of a fight is a mini cliffhanger? That’s toriyama 100%.
@poppin1w3 He didn’t make a binding vow to sacrifice his arm, he made a binding vow to temporarily sacrifice the reinforcement in his arm in exchange for the same amount extra reinforcement in the rest of his body
@SpawnYaardReply Using a weapon of the same kind costs an extra abyss artifact to upgrade your weapon. Not worth it unless you have the skill tree maxed and you’re going for rank 10-12
@madstorkreviews@zbogus77 I agree, if you have to pick one, it’s probably fiddler. But Malazan so clearly doesn’t have a “main character” that it’s a moot point. Unless you can include the entire Paran family as one character at least
