@TukiFromKL you are measuring the wrong thing. Crypto go up brrrr. is not success. The success is that the banking infrastructure is being completely decimated and innovated in real time to crypto hybrids. This last year has been the fastest disruption in banking history.

Congratulations and what a time to be alive for all builders. Note: if you are young and reading this post, ignore the follow your passion advice. It´s level 1 thinking and some of the worst advice for career in the history of the world. The level 2 on passion is that passions are developed. There´s a formula for it. Much better advice is develop a passion at the nexus of where value lies.

At this point they have been commoditized aggressively. Just a week ago I began pushing back on our crypto provider on cross border receipts, there wasn´t a feature offered which compares to basis point differentiation.

From their perspective they tried to build in moats, such as good portals, cool user interfaces, out of the box UI´s for the clients to incorporate into their flow.

But, since API integration into client facing tech like CRM´s is tablestakes now (if you don´t have it you are dated),
Since UI is now being handled more and more by integration teams looking to keep the experience on a platform unified

This means its being moved more to plumbing role.

This renders most innnovations a non factor since the core product is the blockchain and none of them built it/that´s open source.

Just 6 months ago 0.8% seemed reasonable but now 0.3% is where things are heading.

The explosion in this space has squeezed everyone and just having good support and a nice platform is not enough to justify an extra half basis point on flow.
