@AndrewCurran_@andastos I edited my post because it wasn’t clear from the article he did this on ChatGPT/Codex. The way they wrote it it’s possible they found it on his wife’s Claude

More or less — I started with 100 in 60s then redid it with 1000 in 120s. Initial prompt was:
> I want you to make as diverse and artistically interesting a collection of 100 matplotlib plots of synthetic data as you can and display all of them in a 60s video with celebratory high energy techno music, the cuts synchronized to the music with transition effects. Make a square mp4.
> Create a 30s animated video with sythesized voice where an animated pelican on a unicycle explains the shell command `w | tail -n +3 | cut -d ' ' -f1 | sort -u` with visuals while juggling several fish.
Claude Opus 5.5 (Extra)
Claude Opus 5.5 writes and animates a 5 minute explanation of UMAP for an undergraduate ML audience
All of this—the concepts for the visuals, the narration, etc.—is from Claude. Prompted in Claude Code on my phone.
@goodside Very impressive! I would say its a good explanation for an undergrad audience in 5 minutes. I appreciate the caveats and discussion at the end; especially regarding using it as a tool to explore and find questions rather than as proof of answers.
@TheUnicornist It’s right AFAICT but I’m not an authority. The 1-minute version was rated as “not terrible” by the paper’s original author so I’m trying a more ambitious version
@goodside I have to admit that is not terrible for a 1-minute explainer. I would be interested to know how it would fare if given more time (and thus has to dig deeper into details and theory).
