#lostfiles March 28th, 2026.
About nine months ago, @CamHailey2 shone bright on the big stage that was the @NikeEYB Peach Jam, as his shot-making prowess was certainly one to watch, as he helped lead @ExpressionsBall to the semifinals.
Fast-forward to today, as he has finished his high school career at @WRA_Hoops in Hudson, Ohio, and is ready to move on to his next chapter at @UMassAmherst, the big university in his home state of Massachusetts.
A Boston native, Hailey pulled up to the inaugural Thank You Basketball All-Star Game last month & showcased plenty of moves for the Massachusetts squad & let off some great jumpers.
Look out for him next season, as he will be making noise for the Minutemen in the @MACSports.
@UMassMBB
Tahlan Pettway is one of the most fun players in the transfer portal. The Freshman from Worcester Mass had a very productive end to his season this year with the Western Carolina Catamounts! 👇
-
Pettway posted averages this year of 8.5 PPG, 2.2 REB and 2.3 AST. Also had good splits of 43/39/76.
-
What pops out about Pettway is his ability to create his own jumper. Pettway is one of the quickest players in the entire country. And paired with an elite handle it is incredibly hard to stay in front of him.
-
Pettway was very efficient in the mid range area this season. He shot at 60% in that area. Pettways speed and handle allow him to get those shots with tons of space. Pettway isn’t a great finisher at the rim so his mid range game being so efficient is a great sign.
-
Pettway is also a great 3 point shooter. He can knock down 3s off the catch (76% of 3s assisted) or off the dribble. He has a quick jumper and a gets off the floor while shooting which allows him to get his shot off.
-
In conference play Pettway really stepped up. Posting splits in that time of 54/43/79. Posted a 18 point performance against Mercer in the first round of the SoCon conference tournament.
-
Pettway showed flashes of being an elite scoring guard. Tons of upside and with the right program and opportunities he can turn into that elite scorer.

I couldn’t have asked for a better first All-Star game ❤️ Drew and I really want to build something special for New England… THIS IS JUST THE START!
Shoutout to the all the players that played & everybody that made this possible.
THANK YOU BASKETBALL

Despite the loss, was SUPER impressed w/the production and toughness of @WRA_Hoops ‘26 Cam Hailey (UMass).
He battled all game showing his deep range and ability to get wherever he wanted off the bounce whether in PnRs or isolation. Battled through physical play for a 30 ball!
Early season highlights of Anthony DeJohn ‘26
Ant is a strong wing who can shoot it from deep. He’s poised for a big second half of the season after shining in key games so far! #WABasketball#HST
Season highlights for Jordan McFadden ‘26
Jordan has stepped up and shown the combination of his scoring & shot-making and his ability to get his teammates involved as a lead guard! #WABasketball#HST
