@tom_dalling @ryanbigg Spaghetti is best with a really simple sauce - aglio e olio or cacio e pepe. But for those dishes to work you’ve got to have fresh pasta. Dried spaghetti is essentially useless.

@boymc Ego definitely plays a part. But the way a lot of tooling in the space is marketed makes it hard to trust on face value. Feels like I need to read a few layers deep before I know how a product might actually integrate with a system.

@genlevel It can also feel adversarial sometimes - like it’s a game level that needs to be beaten in order to ship code. When really it should be providing you with confidence that your change plays well with the rest of the code
