When did attacking men whose dads have died become ‘based’?
Miliband had this reaction to the most powerful section of Burnham’s speech because his late dad was also a huge influence on him.
I don’t think I have ever cried in public. But you can bet your arse I cried when my dad died unexpectedly, when I was 27 years old.
Men need to know their dads matter. Their legacy matters. And part of the power of that speech was that pure emotion.
All the more powerful because men are genetically programmed to cry far less than women.

As Rosh Hashanah begins, I wish every Jewish family in Britain a sweet and peaceful new year.
I know this past year has been hard in so many ways. Britain has become a more difficult place to be Jewish. I want you to know that I will always stand against antisemitism in all its forms.
I have always admired the Jewish community’s determination to hold on to hope, even in difficult times. That optimism is at the heart of Rosh Hashanah. I share that hope, and I truly believe better days lie ahead.

@vanpelt2023 Cambridge should be held responsible for this getting so far. He had autism and probably mental health issues and obviously everyone just ignored it.
