Very normal way to roll out spending.
Somehow not understanding that the province wasn't handing over $3 million turned into $10 million of new spending.
Either that or this was the plan all along and they wanted the higher number to come out later for reasons.
We're calling it season 3 now and there's 1,436 days to go until the next election.
But first we have to talk about a scaly faced motherfucker.

Provincial court Judge Harris has approved release of photos of Doug McCallum's foot, which was allegedly run over. latest on public mischief trial tonight @GlobalBC@JanetBrown980@richardzussman
Today, in front of the famous unmoored barge that drifted across the Burrard Inlet during the unprecedented atmospheric river last November, & under smoke-choked skies, we announced the second plank of our New Deal for BC: our Healthy Climate Plan. 🧵/1
Earlier this year we had a partial series of candidate statement episodes. We didn't get to all the parties but @ForwardVan22 was promising us something and we finally have that so here it is (not on the main feed) https://t.co/9cArKwJJT1
@MorganeOgerBC@anitazaenker@bramham_daphne You're misrepresenting our criticisms. We decried Forward's lack of details. Nothing in their plan talks about bulldozing affordable housing to build condos - that's not explicit in any plan we've seen.
@CityHallWchVAN The alternate way would be to devise a vote compass style series of policy questions that would score each party's platform/record. That could also be used for people to score themselves (think the CBC/VoxPop tool).

Here's what 134 people found in 2018.
@CityHallWchVAN We collected self reported demographic data, incl how people rank themselves. Unsurprisingly the average listener is much like our hosts - progressive/urbanist millenial but there is some variation.
@CityHallWchVAN It's not representative and it's not random. We did a similar exercise in 2018. Basically the thinking being we can rely on the collective wisdom of our followers and other #vanpoli watchers to crowd source a rough estimation of how one might categorize the parties.
