Cambs HIA recently completed a kitchen adaptation to support client with restricted mobility so able to reach into under counter cupboards.
These adaptations made the kitchen more accessible and easier to use, helping the client maintain independence at home.

Cambs HIA recently completed a bathroom adaptation and access to property saving the client just over £15,000 through support from a Disabled Facilities Grant.
The adaptations have created a safer & more accessible home environment, improving independence and day-to-day living.

The client receives universal credit and suffers with significant mobility and functional problems.
Supporting independence.
If you use a mobility aid, a little planning can make a big difference. Keep exits clear, alarms working for your needs, mobility aids within reach, and have an escape plan you’ve shared with someone you trust.

Client said they were extremely happy with new bathroom and their child is using it more often, likes the shower as it is safe, easy to use and spacious.
We recently supported a family by funding a bedroom extension for child with autism who was unable to share a room with siblings.
The project was completed to high standard by the contractors, creating a safe and comfortable environment, while saving the family just over £42k.
