What better way to celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth than a Beacons of Badassery interview with history-making badass Lynn Hill?
I had the opportunity to hike with her while chatting about climbing The Nose, handling fear & why "It goes, boys!" is so iconic.

@theblastedheath I always think about the lyrics from Ten Thousand Hours by Macklemore:
"I observed Escher, I love Basquiat
I watched Keith Haring, you see, I study art
The greats weren't great because at birth they could paint
The greats were great because they'd paint a lot"
@diandraann This used to happen to me when I worked for the Bulls! It's like the only job many people can think of for a woman in sports is cheerleader.
(No disrespect to the Luvabulls dancers, they worked super hard & did things I never could, it was just frustrating that was the default.)
@kimothyjimothy Ooh, I'm interested in a couple (the trees & one of the squiggly ones)! I guess I can't send you a DM, but I think you can message me!
@north0fnorth I know it does nothing to change anything, but I literally yell "f*ck you!" to these ads every time they come on (which is all the time) because I hate them so much!
@pagan_hoetry Ugh, that sucks so much & was handled so poorly! I was once woken up by a police officer pounding on my door at 2am to tell me my car was broken into, which not only scared the shit out of me, but I had already reported my car as broken into, so it was completely unneccessary!
