@SKINNNYLISA You have publicly shamed some innocent influencer because they have not shared what ‘you’ want them to. Some have posted their own thoughts and are incredibly disheartened from what has happened not only in the states but everywhere. I suggest you reevaluate this public shaming!
What an experience it has been actively participating on Twitter as a form of sharing and acquiring resources and knowledge. Carpenter and Krutka (2014), were right in stating its efficiency as an educational tool. Beyond EDUC4750 I will continue my engagement on this platform.
I couldn’t agree more! Twitter has been a great tool for expressing my thoughts and opinions on topics needing exposure. It’s been an encyclopaedia for new profound knowledge to assist in my project, and a search engine for relevant, engaging resources for lessons. #UoNTeach

#Culturaldiversity can be explored in a fun, engaging and aesthetically pleasing way through the use of this book. Mem Fox has acknowledged the various languages, religions and lifestyles of different cultural groups, and draws back to how we still share similarities. #UoNTeach
Indigenous Australians had significant methods of sustainability to maintain and use optimal resources from the land (Bird et al., 2008). Inviting Aboriginal community members within my unit will help teach sustainability from a wider cultural perspective. #UoNTeach
Engaging with local Aboriginal communities is vital to building positive relationships between schools and indigenous community members. It’s important when drawing upon the rich knowledge of these Indigenous members we follow the appropriate considerations. #UoNTeach
https://t.co/GWKYodzRMK A crucial document explaining the steps and protocol to begin engaging with your local Aboriginal communities. I know that this document will be at the forefront of my project to ensure I follow the appropriate procedures. #UoNTeach
@ABCEducationAU video series ‘Where in The World’ is a great educational tool that explores aspects of the worlds cultural diversity. Utilising this resource within an ES1 or S1 integrated unit of work would ensure student engagement. https://t.co/G0wv1cPTxQ #UoNTeach
This chart emphasises the vast diversity of language backgrounds within NSW students. It’s important as teachers we are aware of the language differences so that we can deliver our content in a way that caters for all students. Every child has a right to an equitable education!
Critical and creative thinking along with problem solving are key skills of the 21st century. By utilising De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats within my unit, it will ensure learning involves critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative communication (Kivunja, 2015).
Implementing awareness campaigns will help identify student attitudes towards different projects. By designing a campaign specific to my unit, it will act as a catalyst for different elements of service learning.
Great article supporting mathematical concepts through indigenous perspectives! It’s important we recognise and encourage the implementation of aboriginal perspective into our key learning areas to create engaging and relevant lessons for indigenous and non indigenous students.
For students to be able to take initiative in their own learning, teachers need to enhance students’ abilities for accessing self-directed learning (Chou, 2008). Mishra et al (2013), pose that increasing TPACK will help provide opportunities for this framework.
Assistive technology provides an inclusive learning experience for all students. Ahmad (2015), states that technological devices and programs allow for suitable adjustments to be made so that students with specific learning needs have the necessary access to educational outcomes.
