@Scheuer_Thing I liked it quite a bit. Great and comfy interior, good software and ui. A little less sporty than the Teslas I’m used to which is expected for the type of vehicle it is. I think it’ll sell like crazy.
@wholemars I just got back from my test drive. Good quality, great amount of space, good ui, but much less sporty and easy to throw around than the Teslas are which was expected. Overall great, but not my drive style.
@spotted_model It would be such a cool car to own if they could fix the god damn software and service experience. I completely get why people aren’t buying them, I almost did but bought another Tesla for those reasons along with FSD.
@jackrwilkie They’re set up to make the money on people financing buying cars from them at high interest rates. I’m not sure if it’s working well for them considering the ups and downs they’ve had over the years, but they’ve always given us much more than any other company and it’s so easy.
@minusYCore@shortword@TeslaJoy Yes as well as the voltage for the camera modules themselves. HW3 cams use 12v even on 16v cars, all HW4 use the 16v system, but are more efficient and require less wattage.
@shortword@TeslaJoy The cameras themselves are easy to swap, the wiring harness is not, and because the new cameras need more power it must be switched. To replace the harness the whole interior needs to be disassembled to the bare frame internally.
@Mandablorian@TeslaJoy That was just a computer and side camera replacement. This would require disssembling literally everything like seats, carpet, dash, headliner etc. to support the new cameras needed there needs to be a full wiring harness replacement.
